Incredible location, breath taking views, beautiful walks and amazing property. The beds are very comfortable and there is everything you could possibly need. The toiletries are very luxurious and smell so good that I have had to purchase some myself since coming home. The hot tub and its views are to die for! Maggie, the host, is so lovely and welcoming, we also received a fabulous welcome hamper. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.
A beautiful oasis of calm for those needing to unwindand destress. Modern, comfortable and stylish, the lodge has all the facilities you'd expect. And a wood fired hot tub with a view outside. But inside or out, you can still spend many happy hours just taking in the views of hills, trees and rolling organic farmland. Expect to become fascinated by birds, butterflies, bats, rabbits and the changing weather. And if it's raining, exactly the same view is available from inside - the whole of the lodge's Southside is glass! A very special place to get away from it all.
Regardless of the Corona summer, Eden Hideaway was the ideal Scottish country holiday for us and our two children. The contemporary property is well laid out, with comfy beds, great bathroom, amazing views and awell maintained private hot tub. There was lots to do for children within a 1 hour drive and near to Kelso for amenities. We felt the owners had taken their hygiene regime very seriously, the place was spotless, but made it easy for guests to abide by any housekeeping regulations. We would love to return anytime of year, I imagine the winter here is really special too.
Fabulous accommodation with amazing panoramic views. Great location - so peaceful and relaxing yet only 5 minutesdrive to Kelso. Loved the hot tub... and the log burning stove... I could go on...Can’t rave enough about this place. We’ll be back!
Escape to the bonny Scottish Borders which are steeped in history.
Visit the haunting castles and magnificent abbeys, wander in the rolling hills and gentle valleys, take in a round of golf or fish on the River Tweed. For the more adventurous, there is mountain biking, tree-top adventures and horse riding. For the foodies, there is an abundance of tasty food and drink including freshly-caught seafood, locally-reared livestock or sample the local gin! Kelso ’the most beautiful, if not the most romantic town in Scotland’ as described by Sir Walter Scott, is 4 miles from the Hideaways. Kelso is still blessed with small independent shops providing a friendly shopping experience including a monthly farmers market. There is a choice of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.
