Edinburgh is one hours drive or catch the train and enjoy a scenic train journey through Scottish Border’s countryside.The contemporary chalets, Orchard, Eden and Tweed are blissfully quiet with wonderful views over the Eden and Tweed valleys to the Cheviot hills on the horizon. Relax in your private wood fired hot tub, book a massage in the chalet or enjoy a country walk from the door step following the meandering River Eden surrounded by wild flowers and wild life. Kelso ’the most beautiful, if not the most romantic town in Scotland’ as described by Sir Walter Scott, is 4 miles from the Hideaways. Kelso is still blessed with small independent shops providing a friendly shopping experience including a monthly farmers market. There is a choice of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.
